Order & start your server
- Go to /produkte and choose a Minecraft plan.
- In the order form, select the server software you want (Vanilla, Paper, Spigot, Forge, Fabric).
- After payment, the server is provisioned automatically.
- Open the Pterodactyl panel via Dashboard → Game servers → “Server Dashboard”.
Choosing server software
- chevron_rightVanilla: the official Mojang version, no mods, maximum compatibility.
- chevron_rightPaper: performance-optimized fork, compatible with Bukkit/Spigot plugins.
- chevron_rightSpigot: the standard for plugin servers, with a large plugin ecosystem.
- chevron_rightForge: for mods (Forge mods / modpacks such as those on CurseForge).
- chevron_rightFabric: lightweight mod loader with faster mod updates.
Installing plugins (Paper/Spigot)
- Download the plugin as a .jar file from SpigotMC, Modrinth or Bukkit.
- Open the file manager in the Pterodactyl panel.
- Navigate to the /plugins/ folder.
- Upload the .jar file.
- Restart the server — the plugin is loaded automatically.
Setting up backups
You can create backups manually in the Pterodactyl panel under the “Backups” tab. The backup limit depends on your plan (1–5 backups).
lightbulb
Create a backup before every server update or mod change. It only takes a few minutes and can save you a lot of trouble.
